In Villablino, Spain, renowned artist Jorge Rodríguez-Gerada unveiled Opening Horizons, a monumental land art piece that portrays an athlete in a wheelchair. Created for the Caminos Naturales initiative, in partnership with the Villablino City Council, the artwork spans a vast terrain and is best appreciated from above. Its unveiling coincided with the 14th stage of La Vuelta 2024, ensuring the piece was seen by a large audience.
