Of the thousands of images he took this year in places like Spain, France, Mexico, Germany, and in the US, photographer Jaime Rojo says he’s discovering a new sense of hope and empowerment in the images and text on public walls, even amidst the dislocating effects of alienation in the modern city. It is a place where graffiti and Street Art often exist, somewhere between the unexpected events of city life and the quotidian normalcy of daily proscribed actions of our neighbors.
