BROOKLYN STREET ART LOVES YOU MORE EVERY DAYWhile tooling around Brooklyn neighborhoods under the ever-grey pall of stormy skies that lingered for days, it was good to see that Chris and Veng from the collective Robots Will Kill completed their new wall in Bushwick just before the winds picked up. The guys have been working together a little over a decade and RWK walls now number at least into the 60s.

This new one is called “The Memory Remains” and marks a fifth anniversary of painting on this same spot with their buddy ECB, who gets some shout-outs here. A sort of premonitory image of some of their characters on an ark-like vessel is notable, and this could be one of their strongest collaborations, a sort of throw-back collection of their greatest hits and evidence of their stylistic evolution. During a difficult time and some frayed nerves in NYC it is nice to see old friends continuing to do what they love, working collaboratively for weeks to accomplish it, and ultimately let us all share in the process.
